Shailene Woodley

 Actress and activist Shailene Woodley was born in Simi Valley in California She was the daughter of Lori (Victor) who is a middle school counselor, and Lonnie Woodley, a school principal. Tanner is her older brother. She attended Simi Valley High School, California. Woodley began commercial modeling at the age of four. She began acting roles and her first screen appearance in Replacing Dad (1999). More parts followed in The District (2000), The O.C. (2003) as well as Crossing Jordan (2001),amongst others. Woodley was 15 when she was diagnosed as being diagnosed with Idiopathic Scoliosis. She wore a brace that ran from her chest to her hips for two years. In 2008, Woodley was the lead character in The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008). In 2011, Woodley made her big screen debut with Alexander Payne's The Descendants (2011) opposite George Clooney. Her performance was praised for its performance as Alexandra King. She won an Independent Spirit Award and the 2012 MTV Movie Awards Breakthrough Performance Award and the Golden Globe nomination. Her fame grew due to her playing Tris in the Divergent film trilogy that was based on the novel series. In the deleted scenes of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she was Mary Jane Watson. She played parts in The Fault in Our Stars, The Mauritanian, White Bird in a Blizzard, Big Little Lies, Adrift and The Fallout. She was engaged to Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers quarterback and a former Green Bay Packers player, but they broke up.
