Steven Tyler is the singer of the group Aerosmith that he was a part of to establish in the year 1970. Blessed with a wide vocal range, he is well-known for his loud screams, which earned him the title "Demon of Screamin.' The talented musician also plays harmonica as well as piano and percussion instruments. Highly energetic, he could often perform acrobatics in the performances and musicals for which he usually wears bright and bold costumes. He was born into a clan of music lovers--his father was a classical musician as well as a music teacher, and music was an inherent aspect of his life since the very beginning. From a young age, he was a lover of music and knew he wanted to be musician. Joe Perry and Tom Hamilton were his musical idols. The group was formed as the rock group Aerosmith in the late 1970s. However, the band's success was slowed by its members' drug problems. The band was infamous for its drug addiction, with Tyler's drug abuse being the most troublesome. The group regained prominence after Tyler's rehabilitation.
