Lil Boosie

 Born Torrence Hatch on November 14, 1983 in Baton Rouge Louisiana, Lil Boosie was raised on West. Garfield St ., which was a ghetto located on the south side of Baton Rouge (SSB). He was hardened by the many hardships that he faced as a child. The neighborhood he lived in, known for violence and drugs was a place of fear for the majority of people. To the outsiders, it was a jungle but to the residents, it was the norm. Boosie became very involved with basketball in order to stay away from the streets and was even expected to move on to college level basketball.At fourteen, Boosie moved in to live with his mother after his father was killed over drug use. Boosie was raised without a father figure and was not able to be guided by a parent. He took to crime and drugs. Boosie was expelled from school and began to freestyle to indulge in his love for music. Boosie resided in the 225 but had no connections or real exposure. In the latter part of 1990, Lil Boosie teamed with C-Loc who was a Baton Rouge rapper. He made his debut on C-Loc's fifth album.
