Lexa Doig

 Alexandra Doig, a Toronto native, was the daughter of Gloria, an Filipina mother and David who was an Irish-Scottish father. Her parents held season tickets for their local theater, and Lexa was inspired to start acting after watching a performance of "Porgy and Bess" at the age of nine. She dropped out of high school at the age of 13 and went on to do modeling and commercial work. She also was the host of YTV's Video & Arcade Top 10 (1991) along with her friend Gordon Michael Woolvett.Her first professional job was at 19, when she was cast opposite William Shatner and Greg Evigan in "TekWar". After appearing in a range of projects on both big and small screens like CI5 (1998), Jungleground (1995) as well as No Alibi (2000) she was offered the role of Jason X (2001), that was the 10th season of the Friday the 13th series. Then, she was able to land the role of the title character in Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda (2000) in which she played the Andromeda Ascendant's advanced artificial intelligence system. She has appeared on various TV shows, including Traders (1996) and Earth: Final Conflict (1997) and The Chris Isaak (2001). Theatre credits include "Arsenic and Old Lace" and "Romeo and Juliet".
