Katy Perry

Katy Perry is an American singer-songwriter who was born in an unorthodox family, and was raised with many restrictions. After singing in church during her youth, she began an interest in gospel music during her teenage years. Perry loved all kinds of music, even though she was forbidden by her parents. She was a natural musician, and she had a love for music from her childhood. She was open and ardent in her support of her desire to become an artist. She didn't succeed at first and had to overcome many hurdles before she received her first major break. Many of her songs were deleted prior to being signed by the 'Capitol Record. The album she released as her second album, 'One of the Boys' proved to be a massive success and marked a pivotal moment in her career. She was then able to begin her career as a singer and hasn't looked back since. The popularity of her second album, "Teenage Dreams", was a hit with the hearts and minds of music lovers across the globe. The album went to become one of the most listened-to albums ever. The album was an enormous success and established Katy Perry as an artist to be proud of. Alongside writing and recording songs, Perry is also known for her charitable works. Perry is an activist for gay rights advocacy.
