Beverly D'Angelo's career has been captivating, inspiring and never boring for the past four decades. It is possible that she deserves better films than the ones she often found herself in, she nevertheless was always a source of interest and was the one to watch...whatever the role. She wasn't a timid violet however, Hollywood loved her lively personality and her ability to steal scenes. Her maternal grandfather, Howard Dwight Smith, was the architect responsible for designing the Ohio ("Horseshoe") Stadium at Ohio State University. Her mother was from English, Irish and Scottish descent. Her father was Italian. Beverly was a student at an American school in Florence, Italy, and her father was Italian-born. Beverly moved to Canada to pursue a profession as a singer/songwriter to earn a living.
