Jim Nantz

Jim Nantz is a three-time Emmy Award nominee and five-time National Sportscaster of the year. He joined the CBS Television Network in 1985. Nantz is now the CBS Television Network's primary play-by-play announcer. This includes the Super Bowl and Thursday Night Football. In 2007, 2010, and 2013 Nantz completed a rare broadcasting triple when he became the first announcer in history to broadcast the Super Bowl, NCAA Men's Final Four and the Masters at the same time simultaneously in one year. Nantz is set to repeat this trifecta in 2016.In August of 2011, Nantz received the Pro Football Hall of Fame Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award. The award is his smallest ever. Nantz also was honored by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as its youngest recipient of the Curt Gowdy Media Award in 2002. Nantz joins Dick Enberg and Curt Gowdy as the only broadcasters who have received both Pro Football and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame distinctions.
