An Ontario native, actor Amy Forsyth's love for performing arts started with ballet at her dance studio in Stouffville which is a tiny town Northeast of Toronto. After 10 years of performing, she moved into musical theatre. In the year 2018, Amy was cast in the horror film Hell Fest (2018) by CBS Studios, which Gregory Plotkin, Paranormal Activity, directed. It's a story about a masked serial killer who transforms a horror-themed amusement park into his own personal Halloween slaughterhouse. Amy will be starring alongside Timothee Chalamet as well as Steve Carrell in the Plan B film Beautiful Boy (2018). Amy is a teen heroin addict that Carrell hires to find his son. The film is scheduled to debut on October 12th.Amy's passions for TV and musical theater recently merged into an ongoing series regular on the critically acclaimed NBC series "RISE" as Gwen Strickland, the queen bee of Stanton High School's theater department. Amy also starred in the role of Amy in the second season of Syfy's "Channel Zero" that was based off creepypastas which feature self-contained seasons like American Horror Story. Up until recently, she was most well known for her character alongside Aaron Paul and Hugh Dancy in Hulu's "The Path" in the role of Ashley Fields.
