An Ontario native, actor Amy Forsyth's passion for performing arts began by dancing at her local dance studio in Stouffville, a small town located in the northeast region of Toronto. After 10 years of performing, she moved into musical theatre. In the year 2018, Amy was cast in the horror film Hell Fest (2018) by CBS Studios, which Gregory Plotkin, Paranormal Activity, directed. It's a film about a masked serial murderer who transforms an amusement park into his private Halloween slaughterhouse. Amy will also be seen in a supporting part alongside Steve Carrell and Timothee Chalamet in the Plan B film Beautiful Boy (2018), in which Amy is a teen drug addict that Carrell asks for help to locate his son who is missing. It is set to debut on the month of October 12th.Amy's enthusiasm for TV and musical theater are currently merged as part of a series regular role in NBC's critically-acclaimed show "RISE", playing Gwen Strickland, the queen of Stanton High School's theatre department. Amy also starred as Amy in the second season of Syfy's "Channel Zero" which was based off creepypastas which have self-contained seasons, similar to American Horror Story. Up until recently, she was most well known for her role alongside Aaron Paul and Hugh Dancy in Hulu's "The Path" playing Ashley Fields.
