Elizabeth Chase "Lizzie" Olsen (born on 16 February 1989) is an American actress. She is known for her roles in the movies Silent House (2011), Liberal Arts (2012), Godzilla (2014), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) and Captain America: Civil War (2016). For her performance in the critically acclaimed Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011) she was nominated for numerous awards including the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. She is the younger sibling to Mary-Kate Olsen (actress and fashion designer) and Ashley Olsen (model). Olsen was born in Sherman Oaks California to Jarnette “Jarnie” Olsen, the personal manager of Jarnette Olsen, as well as David "Dave” Olsen who was a real property developer and mortgage lender. She is the younger sibling of twins Mary-Kate Olsen (and Ashley Olsen), who were both well-known for their first film and TV roles. Olsen's older brother is Trent Olsen, and she has two younger half-siblings. Olsen was divorced in 1996 by her parents. Olsens are of Norwegian and English heritage.
