Cate Blanchett

 Cate Blanchett is an Academy Award winning Australian actress and director of theatre best known for appearing as Elizabeth I of England in the flick "Elizabeth" and also in the role of Katharine Hepburn in the film The Aviator. Blanchett is not just an actor, but she has had many years of experience in the theater. She was a four-time Helpmann Award recipient for the "Best Female Actor in the Play' award. She began her interest in acting while in college but was confused about pursuing acting professionally. She was enrolled at the University of Melbourne to study Economics, but quit in a hurry to pursue an acting career. She then flew overseas and took acting classes before finding her first role in acting. After a few years, she had was able to establish herself not just in her home country as well as on an international level. She is the only actress to receive Academy Award nominations for the identical role in two films as she played Elizabeth I (Elizabeth The Golden Age) and March 2018. She is also the only Australian artist to be awarded two Academy Awards for acting.
