 Rosie Perez, an American actress as well as a performer, writer, choreographer and show host is famous. As a foster child and a state ward she was through many of the most difficult moments in her lifetime. It was due to an extra-marital relationship and did not receive love from her parents. The chance to make a splash struck her at a party to say goodbye after she was approached by producer-director Spike Lee for a film. She was praised for her first performance in the film 'Do the Right Thing', she later starred in numerous hit films such as 'White Men Can't Jump' and Fearless. She became a prominent choreographer with the show 'In Living Colour' for which she has been awarded three times at the Emmy Awards. Through her performance in "The Ritz" Googie Gomez she became a Broadway celebrity. She was named the host of "The View" the most talked about talk show, in 2015. Some of her more recent performances have been in the movies 'The Take" and 'Pineapple Express'..
