Trevor George Smith Jr. (born on 20th May 1972) who is better known under his stage name Busta Rhymes, is an American rapper, singer record producer, musician, record executive, and actor. Chuck D, a member of Public Enemy, gave him the stage name Busta Rhymes in honor of George "Buster", a wide receiver in the NFL and CFL. His outlandish style, style and rapping technique are what make him famous. He raps with a high velocity and utilizes internal rhymes and half rhymes. He has been awarded eleven Grammy Award nominations for his work.About.com has him on its list of the Top 50 MCs from Our Time (1987-2007), and Steve Huey of AllMusic called him one of the top and most prolific rappers of the 90s. In 2012, The Source placed him on their list of the top 50 Lyricists of All Time. MTV named him "one of hip hop's most acclaimed visual artists".Busta Rhymes was a founding member of Leaders of the New School. Later, he created the label Conglomerate (initially Flipmode Entertainment) as well as the production group The Conglomerate (formerly Flipmode Squad). Busta Rhymes signed an agreement with Cash Money Records in November 2011. On July 23, 2014, Busta Rhymes announced that the label had dissolved Cash Money Records due to creative differences .
