Ashley Williams Dodson known as Ashley Williams, is an American actress from the United States. Her TV credits include The Jim Gaffigan show on TV Land, and Good Morning Miami on NBC. Williams played opposite Josh Radnor in the CBS series How I Met Your Mother. Williams has appeared in more than a dozen different television pilots over the years and has appeared in more than 150 episodes of television along with television-based films on The Hallmark Channel, Lifetime Television as well as ABC Family. She has worked in studio and independent films, regional theater, Off-Broadway, and on Broadway.Daughter of Gurney Williams and Linda Williams.. Elder siblings are actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley and Los Angeles County firefighter/paramedic Jay Williams. Brad Paisley's sister-inlaw.
