Amy Davidson

 Amy Davidson is an American actor from the United States. She is famous for her role as Kerry Hennessy in the ABC sitcom 8 Simple Rules.Born in Phoenix, Davidson was raised by educators. Her father was the principal at El Mirage Elementary School, and her mother was an English teacher at Desert Foothills Junior High School. As a child her parents would take her to dance classes. While she was at Shadow Mountain High School, she began appearing in ads. Her acting coach to make the move to Hollywood. After having appeared in The Truth About Jane, the TV film about Jane, and in an episode of Judging Amy, she was chosen to play So Little Time by Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen. She played Kerry Hennessy for all 76 episodes on 8 Simple Rules, beginning in 2002. She also appeared on the sitcom Malcolm in the Middle and in the Hallmark Channel film Annie's Point alongside Betty White and Richard Thomas. Other roles include Goyband, in which she stars as the young Orthodox Jewish girl who falls for an ex-boyband star (Adam Pascal) who is performing at the hotel of her family in the Catskill Mountains
