Amy Davidson

 Amy Davidson is an American actor from the United States. She is known for playing Kerry Hennessy in the ABC sitcom 8 Simple Rules.Born in Phoenix, Davidson was raised by educators. Her father was a principal at El Mirage Elementary School, and her mother was an English teacher at Desert Foothills Junior High School. As a young child the parents of her took her to dancing classes. While at Shadow Mountain High School, she began appearing in advertisements. Her acting teacher to go to Hollywood. After appearing in The Truth About Jane, an TV film about Jane and an episode of Judging Amy, she was cast as So Little Time by Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen. She portrayed Kerry Hennessy for all 76 episodes of 8 Simple Rules, beginning in 2002. She guest-starred in the sitcom Malcolm in the Middle and in the Hallmark Channel film Annie's Point with Betty White and Richard Thomas. She also appears in Goyband as an adorable young Orthodox Jewish girl falling for Adam Pascal, a former boyband pop singer. He is a guest at her family's Catskill Mountains hotel.
