Amber Valletta

 Amber Evangeline Valletta (born February 9 1974) is an American model and actress. At the age of 18 she made her debut in fashion modeling. Her work was showcased on her initial sixteen American Vogue covers. In the 1990s, Valletta made it to the top of the heap as an extremely popular model. She was the face of Chanel, Chanel, Escada and Louis Vuitton. From 1995 to 1996, Valletta and her friend and model Shalom Harlow hosted the MTV show House of Style.In the 2000s, Valletta began to focus on her career as an actor. Her first film role was as a poltergeist in Robert Zemeckis's thriller about supernatural creatures What Lies Beneath (2000). Since then, she has been featured in films like Hitch (2005) as well as Transporter 2 (2006), Man About Town (2006) as well as Dead Silence (2007) and Gamer (2009). Her first appearance on television came in 2011and starred as Lydia Davis, a fallen socialite on ABC's drama show Revenge. Valletta starred in the role as Carla Briggs, a scheming socialite, in ABC's 2015 soap show Blood & Oil. Valletta was raised in Tulsa and born in Phoenix, Arizona. Her mother, Theresa Malaby, worked at the post office.Her father is of Italian and Portuguese origin, and her mother is ascribed as having English and part Cherokee ancestral ancestry.
