Isla Lang Fisher is an Australian actress and author, most well-known for playing the role of 'Shannon in the show "Home and Away.". The actress became famous for her role as the popular character in the Australian soap opera for four years and also earned her two nominations at the Logie Awards. In her first career, Fisher appeared in some TV commercials, and later took on quite a bit of work within the Australian television industry. Her fortunes changed for the better after she moved to Hollywood and was a part of films like 'Wedding Crashers'. Her voice acting included animated films such as 'Scooby Doo, Horton Hears a Who!, Rango' and 'Rise of the Guardians. Fisher gained recognition in Hollywood after her appearance in 'Confessions of a Shopaholic'. Later she worked in the movie 'The Great Gatsby' along with Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire as well as Elizabeth Debicki. Her biggest role came in the American thriller heist film 'Now You See Me' where she played one of the main characters, besides Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco. Fisher was also a part of the highly acclaimed American neonoir thriller titled 'Nocturnal Animals. The multi-talented actress is also well-known for her two novels. Her novels for teenagers, "Bewitched" and "Seduced By Fame", were bestsellers.
