Alison Doody

 Alison Doody was born in Dublin in 1966, in a well-off family. She is the youngest of three children. She was educated in a convent, and there she discovered a love of the arts. She went on to study at the National College of Fine Arts in Dublin, but left because she didn't have the drive and thought that she should have a year to think it out. Meanwhile, while sitting in a cafe with friends She was approached by a still photographer who asked if she would be interested to be a model. She agreed, believing she could benefit from the money. Modeling was both lucrative and fun and quickly became a professional model. Modeling contracts lead to commercial jobs which took her across the globe. A casting director was impressed by her work and suggested she try acting. At the age of 19 she was referred to London and was quickly able to win an audition to play A View to a Kill (1985), James Bond's new film. Acting was a passion for her so much that she decided to take on a job in this field. After her first film, she shot a few TV dramas in London as well as in Dublin However, her biggest break came when she was chosen to play Aryan seductress, Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). She impressed George Lucas and Steven Spielberg and Steven Spielberg, who both appreciated her humor, as well as her Grace Kelly looks. She was introduced to Hollywood by Indiana Jones. Then she shot a couple of B-movies in the United States
