Gwyneth Paltrow

 Gwyneth Kate Paltrow, daughter of actor Blythe Danner and famous producer Bruce Paltrow, was born in Los Angeles. Her father came from an Jewish family, while her mother is mostly of German origin. Gwyneth at 11 years old, moved with her family to Massachusetts. Her father began performing in the summer productions of stock in the Berkshires. It was here that she started her acting lessons under the guidance of her parents. She graduated from the all-girls Spence School in New York City and then moved to California to attend the UC Santa Barbara, majoring in Art History. After a while, she realized that it wasn't her thing. Shout (1991), her first film role, was her debut. She continued to be featured in films for the next five years which included Flesh and Bone (1993), Mrs. Parker and The Vicious Circle (1994); Se7en (95); Jefferson and Paris (1995); Moonlight and Valentineo (1995); and The Pallbearer (1996). The performance she gave in Emma Woodhouse's title role in Emma (1996) was what led to her being offered Viola in Shakespeare in Love (1998). She was presented with the Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild and Academy Awards for Best Actress in a Leading role. Her roles have also included The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), Shallow Hal (2001), Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004), Proof (2005), Iron Man (2008), Two Lovers (2008), and Country Strong (2010). There are two kids she has with her ex-husband, English musician Chris Martin.
