Gail O'Grady

 Gail Ann O'Grady, an American actress and producer was born on January 23, 1963. She is most famous for her roles as Donna Abandando, a police drama on ABC, NYPD Blue, or Helen Pryor on NBC's drama series American Dreams. O'Grady is also famous for her roles as a lead in a variety of television movies. She's been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Awards three times.O'Grady was born in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Jim and Jan O'Grady. Her father was an accountant. [citation needed] She was born in Wheaton, Illinois and graduated from Wheaton North High School, in 1981. Prior to making the move to Los Angeles in 1986, she was featured in a handful of commercials. In one commercial, she played the neighbor to whom Michael J. Fox's character chases down a Diet Pepsi. She began to make appearances in the role of an antagonist over the course of time. She first appeared on screen in 1988's romantic comedy She's Having a Baby. Later she was a part of two episodes on ABC's drama China Beach. She also has appeared in a number of other TV series and independent films.
