Amy Jo Johnson

 Amy Jo Johnson was born on the 6th of October on the 6th of October, 1970. She is an American actor and musician. Johnson is most well-known as an actress for her roles on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' Kimberly Hart and Felicity's Julie Emrick. Johnson also directed two short films, Bent (2013), Lines (2014) and Tammy’s Always Dying (2018). Johnson was the daughter of Greig Johnson, a car salesman, and Christine Johnson (d.1998), the manager of a clothing store. She has two siblings, two sisters and a brother. Though born in Hyannis, Johnson grew up in Dennis, Massachusetts, and attended Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School. When she was a kid she took classes in gymnastics.Johnson moved to New York City at 18 to pursue an acting career. She was a student at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. After graduation from the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, she travelled to Los Angeles to audition to perform her first role. She was then selected to be the character Kimberly Hart (the Pink Ranger) in the movie Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. It is the first instalment of the Power Rangers franchise.
