Ami Dolenz

 Ami Bluebell Dolenz (born January 8th 1989) is an American former actress.Dolenz was born in Burbank, California, into a show business family. She is the daughter of Micky Dolenz of the 1960s group the Monkees and British television presenter Samantha Juste.Her paternal grandparents were the actors from the film industry, George Dolenz and Janelle JohnsonAt age 15, Dolenz was a winner of a junior talent contest and decided to pursue a career as an actress. Dolenz dropped out of highschool and started acting in a variety of roles on TV shows. Then, she was featured in The Children of Times Square and also a two-episode stint in Growing Pains. In 1987, she had one small part in the comedy show Can't buy me love. She was played by Melissa McKee in General Hospital's long-running soap drama. Dolenz received critical praise for her performance, and was nominated for two Young Art Awards (in 1989 and 1988, respectively). After leaving General Hospital in 1989, Dolenz landed a co-starring role opposite Tony Danza in She's Out of Control. She played Sloane Peterson on Ferris Bueller the following year. The sitcom was based upon Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It lasted only thirteen episodes before being cancelled in the year 1991. Following the show's demise, Dolenz starred in Children of the Night and later played the lead in 1992's Miracle Beach
