 American actor Elizabeth Olsen is best known for her performance in the movie Martha Marcy May Marlene, that was critically acclaimed and was a source of great praise. Her performances in films like "Silent House," and 'Godzilla' are popular. She is the younger sister to actors Mary Kate Olsen, and was introduced to the industry at a young age. When she was a child she started acting. She made appearances in films with the sisters. Recognizing her talent her parents required her to attend ballet and singing lessons. She realized at a very young time that she was destined to perform. She attended the New York University Tisch School of the Arts to further her studies after she finished high school. She also spent a semester learning at the 'Moscow Arts Theatre School' in Russia. Being an ambitious young woman, she appeared in several movies even before graduating from the 'Tisch.' Gorgeous, confident, and talented, Olsen successfully made the change from a young actor to an adult. Her career was further boosted when she starred in the film 'Martha Marcy May Marlene' in which she was nominated for the 'Critics Choice Movie Award' for "Best Actress" and the Independent Spirit Award for "Best Female Leading Actress".
