Rebecca Black

 American YouTuber and singer Rebecca Renee Black was born on June 21, 1997. Her name was featured in a variety of media when the music video for her 2011 single "Friday" was a huge hit on YouTube and other social media websites. "Friday" was criticized by many music critics and even viewers, who called it "the worst song ever". Black went on to release other songs like her Dave Days collaboration "Saturday". Black was born in Irvine, California, on the 21st of June, 1997. Black is the daughter John Jeffery Black, a veterinarian, and Georgina Marquez Kelley. Her mother hails from Mexico, while her father is English, Italian and Polish descent. She was able to attend an all-public school due to being bullied. She joined the school's musical theater class, where she felt she was "meant to be". Black chose to attend homeschool in April of 2011 in order to pursue her dream and avoid being bullied by former classmates. Black has said she was also failing English class due to her hectic schedule.
