Emma Rose Kenney (born September 14, 1999) is an American actress who is known for her performances in Epic (2013), Shameless (2011-present) as Debbie as Debbie, and Bittersweet (2008).Kenney was born in Manhattan, New York and raised in Scotch Plains, New Jersey by her parents Gillian and Kevin Kenney. Alongside her close friend Ciera Gill, she began acting when she was five years old. She also had an interest in improvisation. She was featured in an advertisement for Scholastic Books, and has had many commercial and voiceover roles. Her manager found her when she was age eight. Kenney has made a short film with the title "The New Girl In Town," that was selected as a finalist for the 2009 New Jersey International Festival.
