 Tom Cruise is an award-winning American actor and director most well-known for his roles in the "Mission: Imperfible" film series in which the actor plays a secret agent Ethan Hunt. He was the most-paid actor in Hollywood in 2012 and is widely regarded as one of America's biggest film actors. Cruise was born in New York to an abusive parent and raised in poverty. However, his childhood didn't indicate that he would one day become one of the most well-known actors in the world. Even as a teenager Cruise was aspired to become priest, but and not an actor. However, fate was not so kind for him and he found himself playing a minor part in the film "Endless Love' as a 19 year old. He realized that acting was an instinctual talent, and determined to pursue acting as an occupation. He was in numerous parts in the following few decades before landing his first big role in a romantic comedy actor in "Risky Business". Strikingly handsome and blessed with boyish charms, it did not take him long to take Hollywood by storm , and within a short time was an extremely sought-after A-list actor. His fame soared to new heights when he bagged the role of secret agent Ethan Hunt in the 'Mission: Impossible' film series.
