Kirsten Dunst

 Kirsten Caroline Dunst is an American actress who holds German citizenship. She was born on April 30, 1982, in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, to parents Inez (nee Rupprecht), who ran an art gallery, as well as Klaus Dunst, a medical services executive. She has a younger brother named Christian Dunst, born in 1987. Her father is German and hails from Hamburg and her mother who is American is of German and Swedish descent.Her professional career began when she was just 3 years old when she started modeling and performing in commercials. When she was just six years old she made her debut in a feature film as an uncredited character in the 'Oedipus' section of Woody Allen's 1989 film New York Stories (1989). The first time she was in a film came in The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990). Her family moved to Los Angeles in 1993, which was the year that her film career took off.In 1994, she had her breakthrough performance in Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994) along with such actors as Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. She was nominated for the Golden Globe, MTV Award for Best Breakthrough Performance and Saturn Award for Best Young Actress for her performance. She was named one the 50 Most Beautiful People by People Magazine in 1995. She was the star of several successful films in the past, such as Little Women (1994), Jumanji (95) and Small Soldiers (1998).
