Jordana Brewster

 Raven-haired beauty Jordana Brewster was born on April 26, 1980, in Panama City, Panama. Her mother, Maria Joao Leal de Sousa is a Brazilian-born model who appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 1978. Her father, Alden Brewster, is an American-born investment banker who has English, Scottish, and Irish roots. Her paternal grandfather, Kingman Brewster, Jr., who was a Mayflower descendant, was president at Yale University from 1963-1977. Jordana was born in London, England and raised in the city until she reached six years old. At that point, her family decided to move back to her mother's native Rio de Janeiro. They would remain there for the subsequent four years. Jordana was able to speak fluent Portuguese during her 4 year stay in Rio de Janeiro. Jordana's family relocated again when she was 10. They planned to relocate to Manhattan. This was the place where Jordana studied at Sacred Heart, an all-girl Catholic school, before going on to the New York Professional Children's School. Jordana gained a reputation for herself in her teens when she appeared in two of the longest-running soap operas that aired on daytime television: All My Children (1970), and 1996 As the World Turns (1956) where she played "Nikki Munson" for three seasons. Jordana continued to appear as a co-star in the NBC mini-series"The '60s" (1999). 1998 was her big-screen debut in "Delilah Profitt", a teen-driven film. It was however her role in the role of "Mia Toretto" in the blockbuster blockbuster The Fast and the Furious (2001) which led her to achieve Hollywood fame. Jordana kept her Yale University education in 2003 despite the success. She played the lead in the prequel The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006), and then reprised her role as Mia in the sequels Fast & Furious (2009), Fast Five (2011), Fast & Furious 6 (2013) and Furious 7 (2015).
