 As one of today's premiere stand-up comedians, Jo Koy has come a far from his humble beginnings in an Las Vegas coffee house. The comedian is influenced by his family, specifically his son. He is able to sell out theaters and arenas around all over the world. In 2017, Koy broke records at The Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall, Honolulu, for selling over 23,000 tickets and 11 shows. The Honolulu mayor declared November 24th "Jo Koy Day." The comedian continued his record-breaking streak by becoming the sole comedian who sold out 6 shows at The Warfield in San Francisco. With 4 sold out shows, he broke Club Regent Event Centre's attendance record in Winnipeg. In the year 2019, Koy sold-out 5 shows at the San Diego Civic Theatre, the longest streak of sold-out shows by comedians. Koy was the first comedian to sell over 17,000 tickets at the San Diego Civic Theatre, and was awarded the highly coveted "Stand Up Comedian of the Year" award at Montreal's 2018 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. He has appeared on Comedy Central and Netflix four times, with each one being highly rated. Comin' In Hot, his 2019 Netflix special, is now streaming globally. Koy is on a quest to help educate people on how to raise young, the intricate details of Filipino traditions, and more!
