Jo Koy

 Jo Koy is today a leading stand-up comedian. His humble beginnings in a Las Vegas coffee shop are a distant memory. The comic, who pulls inspiration from his family, particularly his son, sells-out theaters and arenas around the world.In 2017, Koy broke the record for the highest number of tickets sold by a single comedian at The Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu with 11 sold-out shows and over 23,000 tickets were sold. The Honolulu mayor declared November 24th "Jo Koy Day." The comedian continued his streak of breaking records when he sold six shows at The Warfield, San Francisco. Koy also broke the attendance record for Club Regent Event Centre in Winnipeg with four sold-out shows. In 2019, Koy sold-out 5 shows at the San Diego Civic Theatre, the most consecutive sold-out comedy shows by comedians. He was the sole comedian to sell more than 17,000 tickets at the San Diego Civic Theatre, and also won the famous "Stand Up Comedian of the Year" award at Montreal's 2018 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. He has had four highly rated and popular comedy specials that aired on Comedy Central and Netflix
