Jeanette Helen Morrison, widely called Janet Leigh, was a famous American actress, dancer writer, and singer. She was honored with the world famous Golden Globe awards for her performance in the thriller film called 'Psycho'.. She also got an Academy Award nomination for her part in the film. She was the mother of Kelly cutis and Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was assisted by actress Norma Shearer to get her first break. She made her debut in acting in 1946 on the radio, and then she grabbed a contract with MGM in 1947. She was a well-known actor in several major blockbuster films like Little Women, Angels in the Outfield and Scaramouche. The marriage she had with actor Jamie Lee Curtis made headlines several times and finally, it ended up in divorce in 1962. The same year, she decided to end her acting career. While she did appear in some films, they were small. Leigh passed away in the year 2004 following an extended battle with an illness that was caused by the inflammation of a blood vessel.
