Hunter McGrady, an American-sized model and advocate for a good body image was dubbed the "curviest" model who has ever been featured in a Sports Illustrated issue. She was featured in its 2017 Swimsuit Issue. Although she wasn't a winner her spot, she participated in the magazine's "Swimsuit Model Search'. However, the following year, she made her official debut as a rookie on the 2018 swimsuit issue as part of the project 'In Her Own Words', which offered the activist in her an opportunity to express herself by writing on her body words which are important to her. She's currently signed to Wilhelmina Models Curve Division, Los Angeles, and New York. She has also worked for Lucky Brand, Bare Necessities and Lane Bryant. Melissa McCarthy's clothing line, Seven7, has had her as a model. Ashley Graham's swimsuits for all photoshoot was also done. She walked the ramp at New York Fashion Week in September 2017. She is interested in creating her own clothing and cosmetics line in the near future.
