Heather Deen Locklear is a well-known American actress, famous for her role as Amanda Woodward in the American soap opera 'Melrose Place', one of the most watched television shows of the 1990s. Locklear received the award for Best Actress from 'First Americans in the Arts' in recognition of her performance in the show. Locklear's first major role was on the TV series Dynasty, an American soap opera which was telecast on CBS in the 1980s. The Carringtons were wealthy families that resided in Delver, Colorado. Locklear appeared in a variety of roles on numerous TV shows over the years. Hooker' and 'Going Place' and 'Dynasty: The Revue.' It was in 1993 that she began appearing in the TV series "Melrose Place," one of the most significant works of her career. She also worked in films and appeared in romantic comedies like 'The Perfect Man'. In September 2008 Locklear was arrested for drunk driving. Blood tests didn't reveal any alcohol or narcotics. Later, it was revealed that she was taking medication to treat depression and anxiety, which were affecting her driving ability.
