Jelena Noura "Gigi” Hadid was born on April 23, 1995, in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of Yolanda Hadid and Mohamed Hadid. Her modeling career began when at the age of 2 years old after she was noticed by Paul Marciano, of Guess and Baby Guess. She began with Baby Guess, after which she stopped so she could focus on school. She was eventually able to return and continue working with them.She made her acting debut in 2011, when she appeared in a short movie called Virgin Eyes (2011) as Andrea. American model, Elena Noura "Gigi", Hadid is her most famous role. She was signed by IMG Models in 2013. Hadid was ranked within the Top 50 Models Ranking at Models in November 2014. In 2016, she was awarded the International Model of the Year by the British Fashion Council.
