Giada Pamela de Laurentiis is born in Italy. She is an American chef, television host, and writer. She is known as host of the television show 'Giada At Home' which is a part of Food Network. She has been nominated for two Emmy Awards. She she also won the Gracie Award. Laurentiis was born in Rome. As a young woman she moved to the USA. In Los Angeles, she started in the kitchen as chef. After styling a piece for the magazine 'Food & Wine and being contacted later by the Food Network. Her daytime cooking show, "Everything Italian", earned her an Emmy Award as 'Outstanding Lifestyle host'. She is currently the host of the TV show 'Giada at Home'. Laurentiis is also the author of numerous books. Laurentiis' novels 'Giada At Home' as well as "Weeknights" were on the top of the New York Times Best Seller List. She was admitted into the Culinary Hall of Fame in 2012.
