Christina Applegate was the daughter of Robert Applegate, a record producer/executive, and Nancy Priddy, a singer-actress. After her birth, her parents split up. From her father's remarriage, she has two half-siblings, Alisa (b. 10/10, 1977) and Kyle (15/7 1981). Alisa and Christina were best friends, and lived together until Alisa went to college. Christina's mother took her along on all of her auditions and acting gigs. Christina made her acting debut at age five months, when her mother arranged for her to appear in a commercial for Playtex nursers. She was in close contact with Stephen Stills, even though her mother never got married. Christina still cherishes the guitar Stephen gave her when she was young. Before landing her role in Married... with Children (1987), she was part of a variety of TV shows. Christina still studies jazz dance.
