She was a guest in the famous American comedy show 'Friends''. The role earned her an Emmy Award. Applegate was also nominated for the Tony Award and the Golden Globe. Applegate was also a part of many movies. She was seen in main roles in films, including 'GrandTheft Parsons' and "Vacations'. Her most recent works on the big screen include a leading role in the comedy film 'Crash Pad' as well as a cameo role in the movie 'A Bad Mom's Christmas'. She is also involved in various charity organizations. Being a survivor of breast cancer she has been working to promote awareness about breast cancer for quite some time.
