Chloe Bennet

 Chloe Bennet is an American actor and singer from the United States. She is best known for ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013).Bennet was born Chloe Wang in Chicago, Illinois. Her father was Han Chinese, and her mother was Caucasian American. She moved to China at the age of 15 in order to pursue a singing career. In China, Bennet lived with her maternal grandmother in Beijing and also studied Mandarin. She was a vocalist and later moved to Los Angeles, California. After having difficulty booking jobs using her name Her first screen appearance was as host on the TeenNick summer dance show The Nightlife. According to Bennet the use of her father's name instead of his last name avoids difficulties being cast as an ethnic Asian American while respecting her father.From 2012 to 2013, she was a recurring supporting role in the ABC drama series Nashville as Hailey. In December 2012, she was cast as a series regular on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
