Angela Bassett

 Angela Bassett, an American actress, is well-known for her work on biographical shows like 'What's Love Got to Do with It? and 'The Rosa Parks Story. In her extensive and illustrious career, she has been involved on a variety of projects. Her career began as a dancer in her youth. In her 11th grade, she traveled to Washington D.C. to see James Earl Jones in action in the Kennedy Center production of 'Of Mice and Men'. Before pursuing acting, she worked as a receptionist for the beauty salon, and later as a researcher for 'U.S. News & World Report magazine. After proving her acting skills as a theater actor, she was able to appear in a variety of films and TV shows. Her notable films include 'Boyz n the Hood, 'Malcolm X,' 'Panther,' 'Waiting to Exhale, Akeelah and the Bear,' 'Green Lantern Black Nativity 'London Has Fallen, the film 'Black Panther and 'Avengers: The Endgame.' She has also appeared in television series, such as 'ER' and 'American Horror Story.'
