Allen Iverson

 the most loved and hated characters the most loved and hated players Basketball. Born Allen Ezail Iverson in Hampton, Virginia, he grew up very poor to an unemployed mother and a father who deserted him. As a child, he was very athletic as he played basketball and football throughout the majority of his time before going to college. As per the advice by his mom, Iverson started to focus on basketball, even though he was keen to play football. He was an accomplished basketball player. In Bethel High School in Newport News, he began his basketball career at the high school level. He was well-known for his inability to coach, and for talking frequently. It's no exaggeration to say his was a troublesome child. He walked daily through sewers at his residence. During one summer that he lived through, he witnessed the demise of nearly 10 of his most trusted friends. Iverson first came to the national spotlight in 1993 following an unpopular incident surrounding violent events at a bowling center in Newport News. Although the specifics of the incident will never be known for certain, it is believed that Iverson and some other white students had an argument with his classmates. The first question surrounding the incident is whether he initiated it, or if white kids started the fight. Also, the question surrounded whether or whether he assaulted the victim's white counterpart by hitting her on the head by using the chair. The prosecution insisted that surveillance tapes proved Iverson was the culprit however, the tapes showed nothing conclusive. Two elements influenced his testimony at his hearing;
