Amy Forsyth, an Ontario native was captivated by performing arts when she began dancing in Stouffville's dance studio. This is a tiny town in the northeastern part of Toronto town. After a decade of dancing, she changed to musical theatre. In the year 2018 Amy was in the horror film Hell Fest (2018) by CBS Studios, which Gregory Plotkin, Paranormal Activity, directed. The film is about a serial killer who transforms an amusement park that is horror-themed into his own Halloween slaughterhouse. Amy will be appearing alongside Timothee Chalamet as well as Steve Carrell in the Plan B movie Beautiful Boy (2018). Amy portrays a teenage drug addict that Carrell asks for help in getting his son back. The film will be released on the 12th of October. Amy's love for theatre and television collided recently in the form of a regular series role in NBC's critically acclaimed series "RISE". She plays Gwen Strickland (the queen bee of Stanton High School's theatre department). Amy also starred in the second season of Syfy's "Channel Zero" which is based on the popular creepypastas with self-contained seasons reminiscent of American Horror Story. Until recently she was best known for her role alongside Aaron Paul and Hugh Dancy in Hulu's "The Path" playing Ashley Fields.
