Amy Christine Dumas (/dU'ma' du'ma' /dU'ma' ; 14 April 1975), also called Lita is an American professional wrestler. She is currently signed with WWE. Lita is also one of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. In addition to being one of the most popular female wrestlers, she was also inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. She is considered to be one of the most famous wrestlers of the Attitude Era.Initially under the name Angelica, Dumas started her wrestling career in Mexico by joining the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in 1998. This was following that by working briefly on the US independent circuit in early 1999. She then worked for 6 months with Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). Dumas was then signed to the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, renamed to WWE in 2002) in August 1999. She began her career in February 2000 under the name Lita. She was initially paired with Essa Rios. But she gained her biggest boost as the Team Xtreme's top heel wrestler in 2005-2006, where she was also Edge's manager. She is a four-time WWF/WWE Women's Champion.
