Amirah Vann

 Amirah Charline Vann (born 1980) is an American actor and singer. She is best known for playing attorney Tegan Price in How to Escape from Murder.Amirah Charline Vann was born in the year 1980, in Queens, New York.Her father is an African-American from Georgia, and her mother is the Puerto Rican.Vann went to Midwood High School and then Far Rockaway High School, which she graduated from in 1998. Then she earned her bachelor's degree from Fordham University in 2002, and a Masters of Fine Arts degree from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2007. After completing her bachelor's degree at Fordham University in 2002, Vann earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2007. In the year 2016, Vann was cast as Ernestine who was the Macon plantation's head house slave. Following two seasons, the series was pulled in 2017. Following two seasons, the show was canceled. Vann has also a recurring role on the USA Network limited series Unsolved, The Murder Of Tupac as well as The Notorious B.I.G. as an FBI agent who is assigned to the taskforce of multi-agency responsible for the Christopher Wallace murder investigation.
