The constant determination to fulfill his childhood ambitions made Rob Dyrdek a professional athlete at the age of 16 and propelled his career into business long before the majority of students entered college. Being surrounded by entrepreneurs during his youth, Dyrdek quickly learned the power of building brands. He started his first company when he was just 18. By leveraging his influence, and creating new concepts and ideas, he helped turn a rapidly growing footwear and apparel brand into a $500 million multinational company. Later in his career, he applied the same abilities to create skate brands. He launched Street League Skateboarding, the first professional skateboarding league, and ETN, the first skate channel. Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory was created after the popularity of his first show. It showcases his Do-Or–Dier(r), entrepreneurial mindset.
