Melissa Benoist, an American singer and actress, rose to prominence as Marley Rose on the comedy drama TV series "Glee" in the year 2012. Also, she was praised for her role in the drama series of CBS/CW called 'Supergirl' in the year 2015. Melissa made her debut in the Mariah Carey-starrer movie "Tennessee" in 2008. Since then, she has been an actress of distinction in films like "Whiplash", "Danny Collins", "The Longest Ride" and "Juvenile". Melissa began her acting career in the year 2000 with 'The Sound of Music'. She was followed by many shows, such as 'Evita' The Modern Millie', and "As You Like it. She was a singer and received acclaim for her songs on the albums Glee, The Music Presents Glease, Glee, Season 4 Volume 1 The Music Presents Glee, Volume 1 Glee, The Music Volume 3', & Glee The Music, The Christmas Album Volume 3'. The recipient of the 2016 Saturn Award for Breakthrough Performance Award for 'Supergirl' she also was the recipient of numerous other prizes.
