Lil Scrappy (born January 20, 1984) is the stage name of the rapper Darryl Richards II. The producer who discovered him was Lil Jon while performing at a school concert in his hometown of Atlanta. Lil Scrappy, along with Trillville was among the first to join Lil Jon's BME Recordings. He also recorded mixtapes and the 2003 street anthem "Head Bussa." In 2003, Lil Jon inked a deal to bring his BME Recordings to Warner Bros. Records as an alliance of joint venture. Lil Jon's signature track "Head Bussa" is a powerful message to the radio community. It ranked #73 on Billboard's r&b/hip hop charts. "No Problem," Lil Scrappy's second most successful single, reached the top 30 on the Billboard 100. It also reached the top 10 on both the R&B and rap charts. Thanks to the success of "No Problem" as well as Trillville's hit songs "Some Cut" and "Neva Eva," the joint album made it to #3 on the r&b chart and #12 on the Billboard 200 in 2004.
