Judge Jeanine Pirro (known simply as Judge Pirro since the premiere of its season two) is an American reality court show based on arbitration that is headed by retired Westchester County, New York, District Attorney Jeanine Pirro. The series premiered on The CW in September 2008 and ended May 2011. The show, however, focused on the emotional side of every case, which was one of the show's main themes. Judge Jeanine Pirro was filmed in Chicago at NBC Tower, the NBC network's Chicago broadcast base and home to the courtroom series Judge Mathis, and was produced by Telepictures Productions, distributed in syndication by Warner Bros. Greg Mathis who is the judge on the previously mentioned Judge Mathis, served as the series' advisor.
